My engine gave out on me and I was frantically looking for a place to take a look and hopefully repair it. Here it's a Friday and after calling a few places without luck, I finally called and spoke to Mandy at Triangle auto. She said they'd be happy to take a look if I could bring the car right in that day. I was so happy, so I had the car there by 3pm and I got a call before 5pm with the results and repair estimate. Got my car running and I picked it up Monday early afternoon. They were all so very nice and professional. I recommend Triangle to all my friends.
We were very satisfied that staff were able to fix the car the same day since we were from out of town. The cost for labor to fix the car was a reasonable amount. A loud noise could be heard upon acceleration and beyond before the repair to the vehicle.One problem we had was that we were told by staff we could not wait in the building while our car was being repaired. There were chairs inside what seemed to be a waiting area. It was warm out so we walked to a nearby Walmart (1+ miles away). We thought the waiting area should be made available to customers. The Walmart Automotive Service Manager allowed us to wait in his store. It took approximately 2 hours to complete the repair.
I brought my car in and asked for them to fix the underside of my car due to damage from debris on 95. They replaced the front underside and completely ignored the part being held up by duck tape. They then told me it was all fixed. I’m not sure why they thought it was ok to leave it like this but I would avoid the blind mechanics at this location who missed this. My family has been going here for over 20 years and will no longer.
I can't say enough great things about this business, especially Louis and Mandy. I have used them for over 2 years, since moving to the Island. After my daughters recent accident, near their business (knowing I was clearly shook up) I was able to drive my car there, where Louis met me. He was kind enough to say... leave your car here, go home and try to relax. We will have Shane from BuddyBoys, take a look at your car and get back to you. They even towed my car to Shane for me.Growing up in the car industry, clear communication, fair pricing, timely service, friendly staff, going the extra mile to address concerns, and providing detailed explanations about repairs, is at the top of my priority list. They nailed it! I will definitely be recommending them to others.
The super nice team at Triangle Auto very promptly solved a tire issue and completed a full diesel engine service for the Coastal Marine Engine Tech mobile service van so we could get back to taking care of our boating customers. Thanks for the assist!
